In Shane's case, it's more of a country-wide problem, as South Africa has had an electricity crisis since last year, apparently. Shane also has financial problems now and then.

My sister's planning on getting a new keyboard for Kim soon, though, so Kim's technical issues will not be as bad. (Replacing a keyboard is easier than replacing a motherboard, I would assume.)

And due to Shane's inactivity I'm rather stressed, to be honest...
Anyway, new keyboard, so yeah. Technical issue isn't as bad.

I'm not working a lot on the mod as before, though the little things I do are enough to be considered "minor progress". Like cutscenes. Cutscenes are minor progress, compared to boss fights and new areas.

There's no doubt that it's undeniable that these two characters are uncertified badasses.
(Then again, Lavitka Horton is even more of a badass to be able to defeat these two while she was blind and they were using their full power. At least, that's apparently what Kim has written down in her "dialogue between four characters" - Serenity, Ilina and these two.)

Who am I talking about? Two post-Aidan bosses. Yes, they use an Aura. Deal with it. 8-)

They use the same attacks, etc. as Heavy Press from the unmodified Cave Story. They also summon Butes for whatever reason; apparently the Confusion Zone is the domain of Confusia.

Plus they both know Blue Bolt-- * fried to a crisp *

It will deal 100 points of damage, and even then, they're still holding back.
At least, that's how I want it to be, but it's Kim's decision, ultimately.

Concerning phrase two: When mimicking Muscle Doctor's tackling attack, wouldn't it make more sense for Invidia to be leaning forwards instead of back?

Also, might want to work on Nemesis' poses to make it seem more like they're intending to their actions. Unless they're intended to be frozen in place, of course.

You should always think of the context of each sprite. It's a lot like acting in this regard.

I'll see if I can try to make Invidia lean forward; as for Nemesis, that would be difficult given that Heavy Press' only sprites are: normal; falling/eye opening; damage

ASM hacking would be required to add more, if I'm not mistaken.

... though, I've lost motivation, so... we'll see.

For the hurt pose, I'd portray them as wincing. To do that, I'd have them grimace (as in the moment) in addition to perhaps leaning forward a bit in order to make it more clear. Only have them keep completely still if it fits within their personalities.

For their falling pose, I'd portray them as if they were moving downwards, with the weight being on the lower part of their bodies. Their hair may also lift up.
