For the hurt pose, I'd portray them as wincing. To do that, I'd have them grimace (as in the moment) in addition to perhaps leaning forward a bit in order to make it more clear. Only have them keep completely still if it fits within their personalities.

For their falling pose, I'd portray them as if they were moving downwards, with the weight being on the lower part of their bodies. Their hair may also lift up.
