Very anime-esque indeed, and a lot of self inserts, oh my. Kissing in the prologue already! A one-man-defeats-entire-squad fight scene! And Kim confessed her love for Shane only two chapters in!

And they die at 25 if they don't marry?
This is some of the weirdest plot-enforced pairing I have seen. But whatever floats their goat I guess.
And you weren't kidding about the gas masks.

This has the dialogue writing of a very stereotypical anime. It's not the best written fic I've seen. But it is what it is. It's Interesting. :3

The shipping is so derpy but so hard-core at the same time.

I think this stuff is on the level of My Immortal, and that is just on the descriptions alone.
