Apparently, Nintendo's received 2.2 million applications to preorder a Nintendo Switch 2 in Japan, and they've had to apologize because they won't be able to accommodate the demand.

The Nintendo Switch 1 apparently sold 330K units in Japan in the first week, for comparison.
