This fiend has around 100 HP.

But writing posts in advance can be a time saver too, so. Double-edged sword.

So Kracko's cousin here has tentacles that aren't threatening in the slightest (its laser beam attack destroys the centre ones), has a large laser beam that can easily be dodged and exists to punish reckless players and its eye produces several bullets that can be dodged by moving to the side. From what I can tell, its low HP is to make up for how annoying it is to actually damage its weakpoint (the eye).

This guy's got like 120 HP and is my least favourite Guardian.

The fight itself is fast paced, and the attacks are varied and a threat to the player. I've noticed that the front rocket boosters are only used as an attack once, detaching themselves from Palenque's ship once and hitting the ground.

Baphomet's thunder attack and flame jets allow her to cover a wide range, though they could be made more challenging by having them change positions after activating once. She also has a spread shot that doesn't seem all that threatning unless you're far away from her.

During Phase 2, her minions only seem to be a middle annoyance, and her energy orbs don't seem that threatening unless you're at the edges of the arena. The orbs could also have homing variants and also ones that fire a laser beam before disappearing.

Still one of my favourite Guardians, boss theme and all, though~

Tiamat's attacks make great use of her environment such as the black tide that requires you to hide under the platforms or the various laser attacks that are a threat to the player. She doesn't seem to have any attacks where she crushes the player with her fist or lasers that richoet off solid surfaces, though its a very well designed fight.

The first phase is simple enough, with only ricocheting fireballs. Fair enough, it's the prelude to the actual fight with Mother. The second form and the final form could have their sizes switched (unless Mother shedding her larger forms to become more dangerous is the entire point), and the second form could keep the fireballs from the first form along with the laser spikes, even using them in tandem as the fight gets closer to the end.

The third form has lightning attacks that make decent use of the background and foreground layers and the arrow attack that sadly is never used again. The fourth form is an eyeball which I feel doesn't really add anything. It's tentacle gimmick could've just been used as an attack by the third form and the overall final boss probably wouldn't be that much different. The final form is decent, with a wide variety of attacks that engage the player in different ways.

I'm going to assume that THE BOSS is a joke boss, hence why it's only moves are summoning smaller slimes and high contact damage. It doesn't really have much going for it, though considering Hell Temple's high difficulty, it being a cooldown exercise might be justified.

If I had to make it an actual boss fight, it can keep the slimes but also add a few attacks: one where it turns into a disc and moves quickly, slamming the walls on contact and forcing you to grapple the wall to avoid damage. Another involves causing an earthquake that causes rocks to fall from the ceiling and a jump attack that causes shockwaves upon hitting the ground. It's not much, but its still better than the actual fight itself.
