The Sword of Etheria: Completed chapters 6, 7 and 8 on Hard Mode, though I'm now stuck on Chapter 9. It's always at the last part because the game sics a legion of golems on you during Chapter 9 and I only have two party members during this chapter which makes dealing with them harder than it would be if I had a full team like most other chapters.

The Sword of Etheria: I've decided to make a slight change of plan. I really want to move on from this game to a different one, so I've decided to try out each level on Hard Mode and if I die, I will switch to Easy Mode to try to get a C or lower rank that way.

Chapter 11's enemies are the same as in previous difficulties but have more HP and deal more damage. I decided I didn't care for the tedium of having to protect 4 flame pillars on the hardest difficulty. Honestly it would've been better if Hard Mode cut down the waves of enemies from 32 to 16 or even 8 and replace the regular enemies with the strongest varients so that it focuses more on actual challenge rather than tedium.

Chapter 12 adds a golem to the starting area, then the next few areas add in elite enemies (including a golden variant of an enemy that fires projectiles that can block attacks and charge at the player). I got defeated in the area with the rolling boulders and switched to Easy Mode because I didn't feel like trying it again on Hard Mode.

The Sword of Etheria: I'm up to Chapter 16 now. I bought the Kogoro Suit and equipped it on Galumn before trying Chapter 9 in Free Mode again. It took only two attempts to get the Might Bracelet (which increases the user's attack power by 50%) and equipped it on Fiel. I also went back to Chapter 1 (Hard Mode) in Free Mode and got the Gold Necklace which increases HP by 30%, not that I'll be needing it.

I then cleared Chapters 13, 14 and 15 on Hard Mode. For the most part, none of them are all that special with enemies being replaced with stronger variants. Juju wasn't too bad, the Earth God was tedious but easy and Vitis (and his Bellator Ensis ally) kicked my ass several times before I successfully defeated him. I also decided to go clear Chapter 20 in Free Mode, this time on Hard difficulty which took several attempts.

Katawa Shoujo Beta (β):  I'm now up to Small Change. For the most part, Act 2 of Hanako's route isn't all that different from the final game aside from the scenes being written slightly differently, no music and unfinished transitions and sprites (e.g Hanako's dressing gown sprite doesn't exist so she's shown as an orange silhouette in Dining with the Mad Hatter).

Oh, her birthday was on Friday, wasn't it.

In all honesty, I wasn't paying attention to the days, so I'm not sure which day Hanako's birthday is. I take it that you're also playing Katawa Shoujo?

Katawa Shoujo Beta (β): I'm now at Act 3 of Hanako's route. I assume that this is where the differences between her beta and final route will start to become more noticable.

The Sword of Etheria: I've gotten a C rank for Chapter 16, Extra Stage - Cain and Chapter 17. I also managed to get the Mithril Garmet from killing the last white golem in Chapter 16, and thankfully losing to a boss several times doesn't prevent me from losing the item.

Hanako looks precious and I can see why Cib wants to hug her a lot.
