Chrono Cross: I've recruited Pierre and defeated the Time Devourer with a party of Serge, Leena and Poshul. The General Kid ending (or Acacia Empire as I call it) is actually far better than the main two endings because Serge gets to live a normal life with Leena while Kid gets her revenge on Lynx for killing Lucca and the other orphans. It also helps that it also confirms that Guardia is still around (and that the Fall of Guardia is bullshit) so it can be conquered by General Kid.

Since the game itself doesn't name the endings, I've decided to name every ending I get. Starting with the first three endings I got.

Chrono Cross: I'm now up to the point where I have to revisit Viper Manor. During this time, I went through the S.S Zelbess, learned that the Viper Manor Ruins in Home World allows you to access the sewers there,  and completed the Dead Sea. I've also been trying to do the Marbule Restoration sidequest, which if I've done it right allows me to fight the Black Dragon and forge the rainbow weapons (which I missed out on during my second playthrough).

Chrono Cross: I defeated the Time Devourer for another ending and am up to Chronopolis now. I need to get to the point where Terra Tower is unlocked for the last available ending then start a new playthrough to get the last two endings and that should be it.

Chrono Cross: It turns out I got the disc switch inputs wrong and somehow forgot them. The correct input is to hold R1 + L1 then press Triangle + Select, then Up (Disc 1), Right (Disc 2), Down (Disc 3) or Left (Disc 4) + Select then Square and Select to change discs. Anyway, I cleared Terra Tower and learned that running away from Dragon God during any of its phases sends you back to the beginning of the fight. I also defeated the Time Devourer and got the good ending again. Now to get the remaining two endings and that'll be all for Chrono Cross.

Chrono Cross: I've gotten all endings now. The Developer's Room was interesting, though it doesn't hold a candle to the Insomniac Museum.



Tsugunai - Atonement: I decided to play this PS2 game because its composer Yasunori Mitsuda also worked on the soundtrack for Chrono Trigger, and I discovered this game because its final boss theme was used in a playthrough of Chrono Trigger: Flames of Eternity, a ROMhack of Chrono Trigger. Anyway, I love the games combat system. A turn based-RPG where you actually have to engage with enemy attacks via different actions is the exact RPG I've been wanting to develop for years, and I hope to learn from this game. After completing the first dungeon, the game reveals its main premise: I have to help heal the sadness in people's hearts in order to reunite my soul with my body. I've completed a few quests so far, and am currently helping Irem find work to clear off his father's debt.

Tsugunai - Atonment: I forgot to write this one yesterday. I did some more training in the Training Caves (Red) and I was Lv.27 by the end of it. The boss at F10 wasn't too bad. Grendel is rather slow, which gives me ample to time to rack up damage with regular attacks to build up my Strage meter. After beating them and getting Mumakeen, I ended up using the money earned from my level grinding to buy the Money Ring, which doubles all money I earn in battle. I did a few quests which weren't too bad and I also have two summons now because I've learnt how to fit pieces together in the amulets, and filling them out completely lets you use their associated summon. Raum Lauh wasn't that great so I've decided to replace them with Balrog whose attacks deal decent damage for this point in the game.
