Games Progress
Katawa Shoujo: Continuing on with Act 3. It seems that a rift between Misha and Shizune is opening up, more student council work and Misha comes into my room and asks me to comfort her. I reject her offer and she tells me that it's better that I did reject her. In Shizune's route, there's only one choice. Comforting Misha (i.e sex) gets you the bad ending and seems to trip a lot of players up. Rejecting her offer allows you to continue and ensures you'll get the good ending.

Games Progress
Katawa Shoujo: Unlocked Act 4 which is great. While Shizune's route is the longest route so far and is very wordy, it isn't as bad as some people think it is. The Misha/Shizune plotline is great and really adds a lot of depth to their characters. The scene with Lily in the bad ending route is one of my favourite scenes in Shizune's route. The ending to Shizune's route really does feel like a finale to the game, though Act 2 is the worst part of her route due to the fishing scene which doesn't really add anything and Hideaki being an awkward character who Hisao dislikes. Kenji in on top form in this route and the scene where he's with Hisao while Shizune is talking to the latter is one of his best scenes.

The plan is this: Hanako's route is last. So, it's either Lily or Rin's routes to do.

Dragon Quest Swords: Finished my Payback Mode playthrough by slaying the Purple Mirror bosses who were much easier because the Deathbringer Sword is fast enough to match their speed and powerful enough to cut them down quickly. I upgraded the Orichalcum Stick and Rusty Old Sword into the Dragon Warrior Sword and Metal King Sword, the latter of which makes killing King Latem rather easy. Did some level grinding to make things easier on myself.

After some grinding to get tempering ingredients for the Deathbringer's Shade, I rechallenged every mirror boss and oh man, it melts their HP like a hot knife through butter. Not even Edah Sohpix and his purple mirror cronies stood a chance against it's power and the Figure of Hate. After crushing them easily, I decided to refight them again with the Military Tattoo equipped, increasing my Master Stroke gauge immensely. It was nothing more than a victory lap designed to max out my renown to 9999.

I wouldn't say the best. The Deathbringer's Shade is just that powerful.

Katawa Shoujo: Sped through most of the dialogue in Act 1 aside from the ones I hadn't seen and anything to do with Rin. I'm now doing Rin's route, currently just starting Act 2.

Katawa Shoujo: Rin's route. It's nice to know that we'll be seeing Emi in this route because she ran into me, I didn't f-ucking die on this route. I want to give her a hug, like as a subconscious response to me remembering her route. I go up to the roof, lie on the ground with Rin to watch the sky, then after some time, I choose to go to an art club.

Hisao's art piece isn't that bad but Rin's is great. Rin is right. Art is supposed to be fun.

Katawa Shoujo: More progress. Hisao draws a bird, and Misha and Shizune see the drawing. Hisao tries to be less gloomy after Rin notices that Hisao seems so miserable all the time. Also we'll be getting to see Emi on the track, which reminds me of the that same event in Emi's route.

Katawa Shoujo: The scene of watching Emi at the track is the weakest one because it's just the same one from Emi's scene with a few differences. The other scenes afterwards make up for it, such as Nomiya's impassonated speech about art, the scene of Rin and Hisao in the forest and Rin's reaction to Kenji. I've gotten a letter from Iwanako. This ought be interesting.
