Title: Xyrinfe Shadow Project Multiverse
Post by: RKS on 17 June 2015, 20:04:07
This board is for other works in the Lunar Shadow Project that have releases. The links will be to the project's main thread. Canon works: Non-canon works: Non-canon works might become canon, if it doesn't contradict any events from canon.

So basically, it's "Lunar Shadow in General"?

Kim, are you a medium?
Cuz you predicted Non-canon works.

Actually, I thought Dianke's elder sister Taylor might be thinking of trying to make a mini-mod in the LS universe. :o

I was thinking about a written fan work, Astral Shadow. (Which would fit the naming theme.)

It would have a different planet in the Serenth galaxy (which I'll let Kim name, if she's okay with it).
The heroes are a group of three: a winged girl named Malice, an emotionless guy named Ledah, and a cat girl named Joruto.
They crash-land on Newerth in an unfamiliar area.

That's… all I managed to think about, at this time.

Astral Shadow was like discussed to be a fan-fic by me but then it turned out that will be a project that Kim will make in the future :P
Oh well, gotta choose other names xD

Nah, it's okay; in the event that I actually do get to working on Astral Shadow, I'll just rename it to "Celestial Shadow" instead. :P

Or she could rename her fanfic that. I'll let her decide~

As for the planet name, how about Synhart? Or Aimidia? Or Nicherio? Or Eraishin? Or Rephange?

To be honest, I have no clue what the other Serenthian planets are named… but Newerth is the fourth planet, from the Serenth galaxy's sun (which is named Sunnew).

This thread (http://lunarshadowcs.createaforum.com/newerth/serenth-%28galaxy%29/) will be of great use.

Synhart sounds nice, so I'll go with that. Thank you. I'll place its info on the wiki.

I'll stick with Astral Shadow for now.

Optimistic me:
Hey, that was my idea for a very long time!!
Realistic me:
You were to actually writhe this fanfic?
Oprimistic me:
Yeah, of course.
Realistic me:
Yeah, right.

Sad thing is, my old fanfic got only one read, which was Kim :/ That's why I stoped writing it.

I'll HAVE to read it when I have a new monitor. And ALSO a new mouse and keyboard; the ones I had prior to the damaged screen? Someone cut their wires OFF. :-/

Also Kim's planned loads of works, including some she'd like Pteri/AuroraDash to work on :o

And as of today, S2 joins that list. (Solar Shadow 2 - S squared?)

@Shane (SS2 Progress Updates thread that I could've posted in but didn't): as a boss, you'd be Nintendo Hard :P

Me, I think I'd have 1 or 2 phases. Bloom? 3. Dianke? Probably 2. Dark Serenity? 7 phases (!!!). Rita? I think one or two phases. Sycor? 4 total (two which I can't add). Eight bosses sharing the same HP? One phase. (Yeah, that's a plan. Run.)

Damn, I've had way too much free time. O_O

It wan't until last week that I finally realised that The Gathering had a second chapter. I liked it, although it had a couple of silly moments in it  ;D

I have yet to reread it and give my thoughts, IIRC.

Alas, my phone and DeviantArt is like... ice cream and bright sunlight? Or something silly like that.

Me 1: should i do it?
Me 2: IDK. should you?
Me 1: it'll make things easier.
Me 2: for an extent yeah. but the consequences
me 1: like?
Me 2: extremely long posts?

So I uploaded The Gathering's 1st and second chapter in the forums, so it will be more easily accessable to people like Kim.
{C'mon senpai, Notice me :D}

Dearly beloved, tonight we are gathered here to read my short review on "Lunar Shadow: The Gathering". Gather round, and read on~

I found it interesting. It's pretty great, and I'd rate it 7/10 at this time.

You can expect a full review when I can access this site from a computer.

Thread is adjurned. How much does a Babylonian urn? The time to urn points in the arcade and beat my scores (and the other ladies') is now. The Turnament is gonna rock!

... Sorry. Was sent to the pungeon. :P

At least 71 works in total (planned or made). Probably a little more.

I must never, ever be bored.

Post by: Bloom Leigh Seymour on 29 August 2019, 14:36:14
Well, I think we need something new to revive this Lunar Shadow universe...

Something enjoyable, of course, that would be worthy of the Lunar Shadow Project...

*crickets chirping like bosses*

... Well, how now?

Just a heads-up, I've renamed the "Lunar Shadow Universe" board to "LSP Multiverse".

This thread's renamed too.

It's nice to know that AuroraDash's Solar Shadow projects and my own projects are now integrated as part of the LSP Multiverse. (Unless this thread only refers to Lunar Shadow specifically in which case is still rather good anyway.)

Since 21 September 2020, the Xyrinfe multiverse was created, containing 13 universes, each universe divided into Realms.

In order of creation, these Universes are: Sköll (1), Alscaroth (2), Berloxyr (3), Exavolt (4), Ragsia (5), Fuji no Himawari (6), Axosciled (7), Ridrhym (8), Syngilt (9), Cyanyméd (10), Toxiersica (11), Twiladdr (12) and Alfarnos (13).

Each Realm in Alfarnos has only one galaxy - the Lunaresta Realm has... Serenth.

Solar Shadow is "fanon" - taking place in a different timeline than canon.

Non-canon works... who knows? Selenic Shadow is a part of the Multiverse despite being non-canon.

Take the first letter of each universe, you can spell "abstract fears". Kim says it's intentional, but won't elaborate...

(I won't often use accented letters, by the way.)

So my own project doesn't seem to fit into those universes. That's fair, considering it borrows elements from Dragon Riders/Lunar Shadow/Aeonian Night, the first of which spans several continuities itself.

And considering "Ecliptic Umbrae" would've involved the Karjamian Mythos (PK and Nega-Lime), that's likely non-canon too, but YMMV.

I'll ask Kim about it. I mean, in Apocalyptic Shadow, Amy van der Skyff is a game developer who created "Into the Unknown", so maybe DR could be similar? :p

... Awful lot of things I've gotta ask her today. This, the sockmins, if she'd be okay with getting gloves for Christmas (in summer, since the southern hemisphere's now in summer)...

The Qoutev material regarding those characters is public domain so PK and Nega Lime could still appear in Ecliptic Umbrae. Oh and it's actually neat that Apocalyptic Shadow references one of your old mods. I suppose Dragon Riders could be fictional in the Lunar Shadow universe and vice versa.

Confirmed. Kim says DR can be fiction in the LSP. (Taylor Smith and Bloom Leigh Seymour are NPCs in AS, and Kim says that my Yandere Dhampyr sockpuppet's living in No Town. WTF was I thinking? A half-vampire yandere named Redflower Gardner? Oh well.)
Gun, too, if need be. Don't shoot the messenger with it. :p

(Shoot Prescott though. By all means, he's a boss.)

Ecliptic Umbrae's status is officially "Ambiguous".

Until Cibryll can finish elaborating on what the story is...

The Multiverse is vast...

Skoll... is from mythology, I recall... so I used its name for Xyrinfe's first universe...

Alscaroth
Berloxyr
Syngilt
Toxiersica
Ridrhym
Axosciled
Cyanymed
Twiladdr
Fuji no Himawari
Exovolt
Alfarnos
Ragsia
Skoll

Overseers... common sight on Skoll...
Higher in rank than Archdeity (or Overdeity)...

The observant will note that the board (and topic) have been renamed...

This year (in-universe) adds more universes to Xyrinfe. Total will be 49 (rather than 13) as a result...

Overseers are overpowered...

...

"Xyrinfe"... a corruption of "Serenth", if you wondered about its origin...

Quick question
How do you pronounce Xyrinfe?
I'm pronouncing it as Zai-rin-fay but I'm guessing that's probably wrong.

I've been pronouncing it "Zin-rife", though that one is probably unofficial as well.

"Zai-rinf" is the official pronunciation of "Xyrinfe"... so that can go on the wiki, probably...?

There is a silent "e"...

However, it may have different pronunciations in other dialects, et cetera... Mia says "sir-inf", Luna just says "X-whatever"...

The origin of the name itself was based on "Serenth"... a name Charlie suggested to name the once-nameless galaxy in which Serenity Horton, heroine of Newerth, had lived...

Charlie gave Serenity her name, as far as I know... I think the last name came from Days of Our Lives, though...?
