Ended up rewatching Puella Magi Madoka Magica, which was a happy time. I might considering rewatching Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Rebellion and see if the Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Side Story anime is any good.

Damn, that's a long title. I suppose it's only appropriate that a long anime title has the longest love speech in all of anime. I wonder if its English dub will be just as long.

A monologue of over 7 400 words. Holy hell that's crazy. Rentarou Aijou's Japanese voice actor Wataru Katou deserves a medal, too (though he did accept the award as a representative).

Honestly, Rentarou's English actor Travis Mullenix is probably gonna have a lot to say for that scene, too.

And of the hundred girlfriends, only about thirty-three are known so far.

I'm sure in most other anime, this monologue would just be the entire episode but I assume that in this episode, there is a lot of other stuff happening before and after this monologue. Travis Mullenix has got a lot of work cut out for him once the English dub gets to this scene.

I think the dub's already gotten to that point-- though the monologue's also apparently been sped up in the anime.

Also the English voice actor appears to have a cat.

Okay, apparently the lengthy speech is so long that it plays over the normal credits sequence, gradually fast-forwarding. The Blu-Rays have the full audio unedited, but the fast-forward is applied to fit within the runtime of the TV version.

Even the subtitles experience this apparently--

Huh. Well at least it wasn't cut out of the English dub. I suppose fast-forwarding is a pragmatic choice, considering how TV networks have to squeeze in time for advertisements.

I finished watching Princess Tutu yesterday by watching the last few episodes. Great anime. I would watch it again. Buying it on DVD is a pain because it's hard to buy anime DVDs for my region, if said DVDs are in stock at all.

And there's apparently gonna be a Naruto live action film, and they're looking for someone to take the lead role:
• Male, aged 16 to 20 to play 16 (guessing 16-year old Naruto)
• Asian or mixed-race Asian
• Lean, athletic, fearless, energetic, and expressive
• Must be fluent in English, believe it
• Commitment from January to August of 2027, and filming is in the UK of all places

Destin Daniel Cretton is apparently the director.

Am in mixed minds about this.
