My laptop charged appears to have finally had it, so I might be absent until I can get a replacement.

UPDATE: For now, I'll have to borrow my mothers's laptop charger while I look into getting a new one. Appearances here will have to be more sporadic until I've gotten this issue dealt with.

Yes, as Rachel has clearly stated, I shall be driving her to the destination and stay over for as long as necessary. Rachel has no driver's license, and Sarie has a more… stable work than myself, especially as rainy days are not suited for the repair works I usually have.

While I have gotten a fair bit of work done recently with the non-rainy days, I shall simply have to let my clients know that I will be taking time off to support a loved one.

I do believe we should be back before 22 July, at the very latest.

Luckily, Charlie's half-sister can drive, so Charlie will not have to worry about transportation should it be necessary on a rainy day.

Okay, so we may be inactive, because right now my computer's mouse is acting up.
Like.
Left clicking doesn't always register.
Like. I've had to click on this thread's name thirteen times before it finally registered.
I've had to click on a Notepad file seven times before it finally got selected.
I can't even use any of the Air Strike-based weapons in Worms WMD without difficulty (luckily the spacebar is usable as an alternative).

So yeah.
Maybe we'll figure something out, or get a new mouse entirely, which, at the earliest, is probably gonna be next month ;-;

Okay, for the time being, I've been reminded that I can switch the left and right-click thing, so now I'm gonna have to get used to right-clicking instead of left-clicking lmao

But yeah, dunno how long that will last.
So if I disappear, then mouse is the most likely reason.

I'm taking time off, effective immediately, so that I can come to terms with the death of my mother and my little brother.

Don't know when I'll be back, but right now, I need some time away from the Internet.
Planning on staying over at Dad's for a bit. When I spoke to him earlier, he sounded completely broken, nothing like the father I knew.



Also I'm no good with right-clicking all the time; I've had to get Cib to operate the mouse for me as a result.

As Luna posted in the Real World Stuff thread, the municipal area we're living in has had at least two out-of-control fires (most likely wildfires) recently.
So if we suddenly become inactive, then it's probably gonna be because of those fires damaging electricity lines or something.
(Really hoping that doesn't happen though—)

I willingly spent the last of my money from February's social grant to get them electricity, so that is no longer a major worry.
