Just look at that girl with that hat.
That straw hat doesn't even look like a straw hat.
Though, that might be just me.

Perhaps I ought to post her sprite sheet (or what little exists of it) soon, if I try again with her hat.

Hats in general are my weakness, it seems

Meet the Maid Bot.
They will be common enemies within the Servant Quarters, though their appearance might vary. (After all, the Master of the Castle might get confused.)
At the moment, until I finish up to that area, the Maid Bot will have ? HP and ? XP.

It will have far less than 19200 HP * (and less than 100 HP), but somewhat more than 20 HP, though.

Dianke (my friend who was recently hospitalized due to depression-related reasons) suggested that they be gas-masked and thus reference the maids from .flow, but I immediately said "NO".

*^{The 19200 HP thing: my ex had a mod where the Curly boss's replacement had 19200 HP. It took forever to beat even with an overpowered level 3 Fireball ("Ice Ball").}

The next sprites I'll be posting is most likely Xyz's second form sprites (it has less HP, of course) and most likely one of the many Ending Bosses (there are three; they determine which ending is obtained as well as a Tower-area room).

Xyz's second form, along with some frenzied Mimiga and those Labyrinth M foes.

I would post the sprites for an Ending Boss, but I haven't done those yet due to working on that <BOA guide.

Xyz's second form may look weird, but I tried, at least.

Xyz's first form is also slightly updated; one of its eyes open differently than in previous versions.

(Yeah, Xyz gets a new form because my sister complained it is far too easy. Xyz doesn't even stand a chance.)

The aura sprites are really nice. And about that straw hat in all honesty I can't imagine it other way so it's OK.

The young witch, along with the older witch, some bats and a frenzied Mimiga.
The final colors of the bats are currently undecided, since the Top Floor area has no tileset as of yet. (I'll work on that when I have to start working on the area, though.)

The elder witch. She basically hits people with her staff and uses magic.

Considering the mod is *currently* unrelated to Cave Story... a failed experiment would be most likely.

From the NpcMiza sprite sheet. Unused, not sure what it would have been for. Perhaps a spell projectile that went in eight directions?

Some things I did.

These blocks will appear in the Servant Quarters rooms.
From left to right:

Top row: Face, fire, squid, star, moon, sun
Bottom row: Bubbles, save, stone, sword, thunder, nothing

They will be used for a puzzle of some kind. What puzzle, you may ask? Sorry, I cannot tell you. Mainly because I myself do not know.

The puzzle looks pretty nice. It's way better than 123…0. And Valkirie's first form looks quite good. Nice job Dianke.

Aside from Kim using the 1 - 0 tiles for testing, I asked her if it could be used in the musical terminal map of the mod; she is okay with that.
So basically Moonsong will be at 25, Adventure Island IV's Crystal Stage theme at 02, and so on.

(The guy who transcribed the latter should get a medal or three. :3 )

Is it just me or is there a "VX" on the hatch of Valkyrie?
And isn't there a (Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL-styled) Greek letter (Epsilon, to be exact) on it, as well?
Or am I imagining things?

Regardless, both Valkyrie and the puzzle blocks look interesting

Didn't even notice that until you pointed it out.

It's a bit light, may have to darken it slightly to make it easier to notice.

"VX" would stand for "Valkyrie X", which is the file name of that sprite sheet.
