Games Progress
Dragon Quest Swords: Finished my Payback Mode playthrough by slaying the Purple Mirror bosses who were much easier because the Deathbringer Sword is fast enough to match their speed and powerful enough to cut them down quickly. I upgraded the Orichalcum Stick and Rusty Old Sword into the Dragon Warrior Sword and Metal King Sword, the latter of which makes killing King Latem rather easy. Did some level grinding to make things easier on myself.

After some grinding to get tempering ingredients for the Deathbringer's Shade, I rechallenged every mirror boss and oh man, it melts their HP like a hot knife through butter. Not even Edah Sohpix and his purple mirror cronies stood a chance against it's power and the Figure of Hate. After crushing them easily, I decided to refight them again with the Military Tattoo equipped, increasing my Master Stroke gauge immensely. It was nothing more than a victory lap designed to max out my renown to 9999.
