This thread will contain a list of all Lunar Shadow Project works, in chronological order where possible. This will help with establishing a timeline of sorts, though how the events of the works themselves will be, chronologically, have yet to be figured out. There will be a post for: • Canon works. • Fanon works. • Non-canon works. • Works of unknown status. This thread is locked in case a post has to be split for some reason, or everything has to be reorganized. Hence, if you wish to say something in regards to this thread, please use the Lunar Shadow Universe thread.

(LS1)
On 10 March 2009, Serenity has been kidnapped! It is up to Valkyrie to rescue her daughter.
It takes place on Tirahnys, obviously.

(LSRT) Charlotte planned this to try and suppress her emotions, but it did not work very well. What I can understand of it, it is something like Etrian Odyssey or SMT Strange Journey (based on the map styles); however, that is all I can decipher. There are sectors with names - "Anoria" (1), "Bailia" (2), and "Cornia" (3). Apparently gas traps were also planned, along with bosses. The in-universe starting date is 21 May 2007. … That's the only information available

CONFIRMED CHARACTERS:
FEMALE: | GENDERLESS: | MALE: | UNKNOWN: |
Ariâ (ally) Ciel Sorcičre (enemy) Élea (ally) Selena Daria "S.D." van der Merwe (ally) Serenity Horton (ally) Shana (ally) Ýggdrćl (ally) | Azehr (enemy) | Castle Master (enemy) Evan O'Neill (hero) | Aion (?) Martel (?) |
May as well.
A note, though:
"Ally" includes good guys who do nothing but talk, and "enemy" includes bad guys who do nothing but talk. "?" marks characters with unknown allegiances.
(Azehr being genderless was confirmed by Kim.)
Also, Shana is one of my characters. (I was surprised when Kim said Shana will play an important role.)
The thread will remain locked, however, so use this thread to comment at the moment.

I figured a contest is in order. What the rewards are, I don't know, but! Kim can decide those Basically, the contest is as such: - Participants are to make a sprite sheet for how they imagine Serenity's father, Evan O'Neill, to look like.
- Sprites must be 16×16 pixels and must follow the same format as the default Cave Story player character sprites (stand, walk, stand and look up, walk and look up, etc.)
- Only a main outfit is required; it is unknown whether or not Lunar Shadow ZERO will have multiple outfits in it or not (like Lunar Shadow has) though other outfits are optional.
- PM the entries to @Kim Tyranto. Not Dianke (as she is also a participant).
- The deadline for this contest is Sunday, 29 November 2015.
That is all. And yes, I'm a participant. EDIT BY KIM:(wait what) (Shynwau sounds like a Welsh name.) Poll closes on 1 January 2016.

I decided to start this thread… @Kim, what will the areas look like? Will the reappearing ones look like they did in Lunar Shadow? I ask because I am interested in helping with the mod…

I, too, have a wishlist. Nowhere near as insane as Charlotte's for Yin, though. - Battle (Final Fantasy Legend III or the DS remake SaGa 3)
The boss theme for Arc-ε bosses. - Laguna's Palace (Final Fantasy Legend III or the DS remake SaGa 3)
The area theme for the Core area. - Heart of Fire (Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow)
Another boss theme, or perhaps the Rust Zone area theme. - Ice Cap Zone Act 1 and Act 2 (Sonic the Hedgehog 3)
Snowtown's area themes. - Hidden Palace Zone (Sonic the Hedgehog 2)
Skyware Cavern's area theme. - Raul Hills (Grandia 2)
Botanical Garden area theme.
Canon songs I wish to appear include: - Balcony
Used for, well, the Balcony area. Or perhaps a remix of that theme? - Last Cave
Used for… some area. Perhaps a remix of that theme?

Purloined from the Vresun forums, by a thread started by a stepsister, Charlotte.
Just make a guess about the forum member above you, regardless of how random it may be.
As with the Vresun one, no back-and-forth posting (so if Amy replies next, I cannot reply until someone else posts after Amy, for instance). In addition, please try to avoid being Captain Obvious, and please do not copy from the previous post.
As this is the first post of the thread, it will be treated as having Kim as the previous poster.
Kim is secretly a Newerthian who came to Earth to observe the habits of humanity.

You know how Lunar Shadow has had songs that are not from Cave Story? Well, this thread is basically for songs we wish would appear in Lunar Shadow X. Me, I would wish for: - End of the World ~ World's End (Touhou)
The final boss theme. I am *assuming* that Lunar Shadow X will involve the world being in danger by the final boss, however. - The Primal Scene of Japan the Girl Watched (Touhou)
Perhaps the Laboratory theme. - Kid Festival ~ Innocent Treasures (Touhou-related)
Perhaps the Entrance theme. - Battle! Versus Team Plasma (Pokémon Black 2 and White 2)
Perhaps as the general boss theme. - Touhou Judgement in the Sixtieth Year ~ Fate of Sixty Years (Touhou)
Perhaps the general boss theme for Ancient Ruin and Corridor of Darkness bosses? - Virus Busting (MegaMan Battle Network 3)
Area theme for the Tower area? - N's Castle (Pokémon Black 2 and White 2)
Area theme for the Top Floor. If it really is in ruins as Kim says, then... - Stage Theme 03 (The Flintstones: The Surprise at Dinosaur Peak!)
The area theme, perhaps, for the Reservoir. - Mini Boss Battle (Adventure Island IV)
Perhaps another boss theme, or something. - Dark Gate (Riviera: The Promised Land)
Maybe the Corridor of Darkness area theme.
Of course, some of those would not be possible to work on due to limitations... And yes, I really like Touhou a lot, if that was not evident from previous posts.

You know how Lunar Shadow has had songs that are not from Cave Story? Well, this thread is basically for songs we wish would appear in Lunar Shadow Zero. Me, I would wish for: - Deaf to all but the Song (Touhou)
A song used as an area theme, perhaps the Servant Quarters? - Maiden's Capriccio ~ Dream Battle (Touhou)
This would be a boss theme. - Bloody Tears (Castlevania)
Preferably an alternate version than the one in Lunar Shadow; this would be the Entrance theme while the other one is the Top Floor theme. - Sailor of Time (Touhou)
Yet another area theme, perhaps for the Cursed Warehouse area. - Reincarnation (Touhou)
Perhaps the Lunar Soul area theme. - Aqua Wish (La-Mulana)
The boss theme for bosses on the Top Floor area. - Jenna's Theme (Golden Sun)
A recurring character theme, perhaps? Or maybe a boss theme? - Good Night, Mom (La-Mulana)
The final boss theme. - The Power of Heart (original)
While the person who made the original ORG is deceased, Kim was considering to remake it. (Alexis, being the sister of the original ORG maker, is okay with it, as far as I know.) - Forgotten Challenge (Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories)
The Grim Path area theme...
Of course, some of those would not be possible to work on due to limitations...

A general discussion for all of the Lunar Shadow mods, I suppose, would be helpful. Kim is planning a fourth one (and possibly also a fifth). - Lunar Shadow ZERO
- Lunar Shadow
- Lunar Shadow X
The fourth one is entirely unknown, as Kim has no idea where it will fit in. She says she is considering having one of the Lunar Shadow characters, perhaps a Gardevoir, be a protagonist, and that it will be unrelated to the castle that appears in the already-known trilogy. So... if it is not related to the trilogy, then what is it related to? Will it be for tying up loose ends? Who knows... Or perhaps it takes place between LS and LSX, and events in LSY ending up leading to LSX existing? Who knows? Will the fifth one, if it is going to be a thing, take place between LSZ and LS? SO MANY QUESTIONS I shall merely wait for Kim to reply. And wonder.

So we have no thread for weapons at all, so I believe this might do. The format below is what I will be using; the tables that this forum uses are... not as useful as the Vresun forums' tables, not to mention they might be full of bugs. Note that this is all according to the mod's SCRIPT files and date, and might change in future versions. Alternatively, it might use Kim's notes as base. Any typos will be kept as is - currently, only the Super Missile has a typo ("exhil irating")... As a note, the "Energy for next Level" for level 3 is how long it takes before it reaches MAX XP.

Unobtainable. Is unchanged from the original Cave Story's Super Missile. Included here for the sake of completion. No idea on how this weapon's damage is calculated. Does not have a cloak of any kind.
Invidia INVIDIA: lightning of the goddess. Often mistaken for Nemesis. | Damage Number of Hits Range | Energy for next Level | Properties | Level 1 | 4 damage 2 hits 20 range | 20 XP | Breaks blocks | Level 2 | 4 damage 3 hits 30 range | 40 XP | Breaks blocks | Level 3 | 4 damage 4 hits 40 range | 60 XP | Breaks blocks |

Cypher is one of the seven natural Newerthian continents. NAME:Pronunciation: sIfu(r) IPA: /ˈsaɪfə/ KNOWN LOCATIONS:- Amaranth City: a port city to the east of the Grand Cypher Cliff. Amaranth flowers bloom here and, as one of the Eight Cities of Neia, people keep voting it for the "Best City of Neia of the Year" award, yet it keeps losing to another continent. The mayor calls it a running gag, however.
- Fenrir Village: a village constructed by the Hero of Amaranth, and as such it is one of the Eight Heroes' Villages. Fenrir's shrine is said to contain the legendary mace Sharur and the legendary hammer Mjölnir. The houses are actually built inside giant trees, as the inhabitants wish to live as close to nature as possible. As such, they have no electricity or electrical appliances, nor do they know how to use these.
CURRENCY:Cypher uses Emblem and Emblemite ( plural unchanged for both) as their currency. Emblem have the current ruler's emblem on the coin/bill, which are magically enchanted to change whenever there is a change of rulership. In addition to this, there is some or other thing on the coins/bank notes that represent the continent. Contrary to Earth's money, "bank note" in this case means "rectangular money" and can be made of anything, even paper. The coins and bills work as follow: - 1 e (1 Emblemite; has an amaranth flower and is made of copper; coins)
- 2 e (2 Emblemite; has two amaranth flowers and is made of copper; coins)
- 5 e (5 Emblemite; has five amaranth flowers and is made of copper; coins)
- 10 e (10 Emblemite; has one protea flower and is made of silver; coins)
- 20 e (20 Emblemite; has two protea flowers and is made of silver; coins)
- 50 e (50 Emblemite; has five protea flowers and is made of silver; coins)
- 1 E (1 Emblem; has one cheetah and is made of gold; coins)
- 2 E (2 Emblem; has two cheetahs and is made of gold; coins)
- 5 E (5 Emblem; has five cheetahs and is made of gold; coins)
- 10 E (10 Emblem; has one pixie and is made of platinum; bank note)
- 20 E (20 Emblem; has two pixies and is made of platinum; bank note)
- 50 E (50 Emblem; has five pixies and is made of platinum; bank note)
- 100 E (100 Emblem; has one winged pig and is made of cobalt; bank note)
- 200 E (200 Emblem; has two winged pigs and is made of cobalt; bank note)
- 500 E (500 Emblem; has five winged pigs and is made of cobalt; bank note)
There is 100 Emblemite in 1 Emblem. FLORA AND FAUNA:Cypher is unique in that it has life that can only be found naturally on the continent. Other continents may have imported these rare lives. Cypher-unique life includes amaranths, proteas, cheetahs, pixies and winged pigs (which give literal meaning to "when pigs fly", basically).
