Discuss it here!

The magatama would trigger if Phoenix asked a person if they had amnesia and they said "yes" when in truth they didn't right?

But it wouldn't trigger if Phoenix asked the question and they really have amnesia?

And if they can't remember something and a question is asked, would that trigger Psycholocks?

Serenth / Voraorite (planet)
« on: 04 November 2016, 10:06:22 »
Voraorite is a large planet in the fictional Serenth galaxy.

NAME:
Pronunciation: vu-rey-ow-rIt
IPA: /væˌreɪoʊˈraɪt/

SEASONS:
The seasons vary by hemisphere.
  • Northern Hemisphere:
    Spring: November, December and January
    Summer: February, March and April
    Autumn: May, June and July
    Winter: August, September and October
  • Southern Hemisphere:
    Spring: May, June and July
    Summer: August, September and October
    Autumn: November, December and January
    Winter: February, March and April

CONTINENTS:
Voraorite has nine natural continents and two man-made continents, for a total of eleven continents. Out of these, four are sky continents. Years listed are Newerth years, not Voraoritan years.
  • Axroa (natural continent)
A continent with three nations, though it used to have seven. Zeroni, Xavios and Quirne are the current nations; Quirne consists of Qurya, Ireona, Nouram and Einwär.
  • Beau'Czar (natural continent)
A continent with three nations, Vernisio, Treito and Unundenari. The continent is where the first Voraoritan calendar was created, consisting of two hundred fifty-five days in a year. It is also where the first car was invented on the planet.
  • Karjiu (natural sky continent)
A sky continent of some kind, with four nations. Perayosi has a large brick wall surrounding the borders, with cannons firing bricks at enemies. Zaruqua is famed for its school of archery; archers from this nation have an impossibly good aim. Xrow (the "X" is pronounced like a "sch" sound) is renowned for its school of swordsmanship. However, in the center of the continent is a rather miniscule nation that people don't even know exist (usually), named We'izga'sen, where a magical gate can be found that contains teleporters to other planets - inhabitable, or otherwise.
  • Occylit (natural continent)
A continent that has five nations: Shisukai, Aiharuto, Bellarai, Cherisaro and Karos. In 2016, Shisukai was attacked by the Eclumbri, who had used a chemical weapon; while the exact count is unknown, there are few survivors. A mysterious ring was enshrined here, but stolen by a mysterious sociopath who is currently undocumented in Voraorite's keno book. The Flesh Zone is found in Shisukai.
  • Quåsorýra (natural sky continent)
A sky continent with three nations. Kamika was the nation where chemical weapons were first invented; however, its ruler attempted to have such things banished from Voraorite (and was unsuccessful despite trying for at least seventy-seven years and seven weeks). Byoroa was the nation that first named the continents in the old Voraoritan tongue. Vor'Ite was the first nation to wage war with another nation, in the year 123.
  • Rhudesié (man-made continent)
A man-made continent that had four nations in the past: Eclumbria, Abcdea, Blomeria and Sanctuisa. However, in 1996, the Eclumbri (plural unchanged) conquered the continent, renaming it to Eclumbria. They wage war with the other nations of the world, planning to conquer the world. They use chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear weapons.
  • Ryn (natural continent)
The smallest continent of the planet, with two nations: Rynas and Jeyro. The continent is so small that there's only one city per nation. A large desert lies in the center of the island.
  • Skaithundar (madman-made sky continent)
A floating continent created by a madman, with only two nations, Jirm'ay'ne and Rivroa. These nations combined form a formidable foe capable of fighting even Eclumbria to a standstill. Not bad for a continent whose nations are mostly pacifists.
  • Ukimara (natural continent)
A continent that has had six nations in the past, before Eclumbria conquered most of it in 2002. The five nations, now belonging to Eclumbria, were Diora, Furiayu, Helaios, Luminoa and Mortrevia. The last nation that has not yet been captured is the nation of Oxairjam, whose mightiest wizards and witches put up a magical barrier to prevent anyone from entering or exiting… with one weakness known thus far. Those who are permitted to enter, however, have been given a spell that lets the caster (and only the caster) teleport into the nation. Sadly, those who possess anti-magic are unaffected by the barrier, so they can just walk through it without being knocked back fifty feet, but the Corpse Combat Corps stationed around the barrier makes short work of them. Oxairjamese people are legally allowed to become undead, provided they sign a special document that permits it after death; necromancers who illegally raise corpses are punished with death by life-draining magic, or being burned at the stakes. (With steaks.)
  • Yukronay (natural sky continent)
A floating continent with five nations: Confla, Aquario, Quakra, Gaeliun and Voltiar. The inventors of airships on this planet are from the Gaeliun nation. The five nations use shinobi and kunoichi in war, usually equipped with state-of-the-art gear. Although the nations aren't allied with each other, they are allied with Shisukai, and in an emergency, the five nations will team up, no matter how reluctantly, to protect their allies of Shisukai.
  • Za'Shi'Ro (natural continent)
A continent with four nations, known as Yozario, Tsukishi, Arocha and Aquostruphy. The rulers of each nation are always named "Yoshiro" or "Yoshirō" (Yozario), "Tsukiko" (Tsukishi), "Aaron" (Arocha) and "Apostrophe" (Aquostruphy), for some reason. The Voraoritan tongue is also used sometimes, with names like "Yo'Shi'Ro"; this continent is currently the only nation left that still uses the Voraoritan tongue as official languages within their nations.
More info might be added at a later time~

KENO BOOKS:
Keno books are books that contain a list of wanted criminals, along with a bounty. Created in 1563, licensed ashigaru, ninja, rōnin, samurai and sōhei in addition to high-ranking witches and wizards, bounty hunters and royal soldiers, are allowed to attack and capture these criminals. The bounty is generally halved if the criminal is killed, though exceptions - such as the psychotic serial killer Xeirio Quelziroro - do exist.

(For the curious: Xeirio's bounty was equal to about 20¾ billion yen, and was the highest bounty in the planet's history. Xeirio had killed so many people that he was soon wanted "completely and undeniably dead" rather than "dead or alive".)

CURRENCY:
Each nation has its own currency; as there are numerous nations, this thread will not detail the currencies. However, according to world-renowned economist Sa'Di'Roth, "a global currency is being introduced to make trade easier between nations with differing currencies".

VORAORITAN LANGUAGES:
The ancient Voraoritan language, used centuries ago, is referred to as the "Voraoritan tongue". The language consists of words with apostrophes in them, something that can be seen in names like "Za'Shi'Ro" ("za's" meaning "sun" and "hi'ro" meaning "righteous") or "Ri'Seh'Ak" ("ri'se" meaning "maiden" and "h'ak" meaning "kind"). "Yo's" means "son". "Beau'c" means "chronicle" while "zar" means "sever". "We'i" means "white", "ga's" means "sky". "Z" is used similar to the "-s" suffix of English words, being in plural (so "ri'sez" would be "maidens"), while "en" is used similar to the "-ed" suffix of English.

In names, the first letter at the start of the name and after an apostrophe are capitalized. Similar to English, sentences always start with the first letter of a word being capitalized; however, the letters following an apostrophe are not similarly capitalized. When pronounced, each syllable is pronounced separately, where possible.

In 1829, the Voraoritan language fell out of use and English and other languages began to take their place. Currently, the nations of Aquostruphy, Arocha, Tsukishi and Yozario are the only ones that still uses the language.

MYTHOLOGY:
Voraoritan mythology states that a mysterious ring with evil powers was enshrined in the nation of Shisukai. This ring is said to grant the wearer the ability to command Tia and Mat, daughters of the vile Iquaroxan phoenix Marshussu, with Tia and Mat's markings appearing around the eyes. Tia and Mat were said to have attacked, only to be sealed away by a single 7-year old boy named Ri'Char'Dio Blom. Ri'Char'Dio's ancestors were tasked with guarding this shrine. In 2016, Kousendia Blom (age 13) was supposed to be guarding it, but for unknown reasons, she did not.

Please note that the following is (supposedly) in jest. Take it all with a grain of salt (or several), but be careful not to take too much salt. I just felt like doing something silly, for once. Hopefully it lifts a dark cloud or five from this forum, in the name of peace, friendship, and happiness! Oh, and comedy. Of course, Etna would probably throw a Prinny at it and blow it to smithereens. You have been warned that this is (supposedly) in jest, by the way.

With that out of the way, it's time for the pics.

(click to show/hide)
So here we see Nega-Lime Karjam near a ring, and the Purple Karjam watching. Above them, in bubbles, float Tia and Mat, though their markings are not blue. There are also hearts and stars.

(click to show/hide)
Here we have random text and whatever. :P

We see Nega-Lime Karjam before and after putting on the ring (though, whether the markings of Tia and Mat would normally appear on his face I don't know yet; I'm assuming it would even if assuming is a bad idea).

Tia and Mat are controllable by those who wear the ring. Combined, they are Tiamat, daughter of Marshussu and Martablilu of Iquarox. Their fusion form looks like a mixture of the two. The dragons, too (though that last one is real creepy, with four legs and two foreclaws).

I have no idea how Yoshiro or Blue Karjam would look like in the sprite form, so I didn't add them. I apologize!

We have several characters - PK, Serenity (after Lunar Shadow's events), Shinica (around the time her Late Taint activates - she keeps her empty eye open, though), Ilina (also after the events of LS; though she's no longer president due to being kidnapped in Lunar Shadow ZERO that I still can't upload to MediaFire), Lunadine (former enemy), Alexis (former foe), S.D. van der Merwe with her Volt Cannon from Lunar Shadow ZERO, a "Haze" (no I don't know what those are), an unknown being that looks a lot like how Dianke imagines a Netherblood Sivleren Fairy to be… three of Evan O'Neill's fairies (Evan was Serenity's father before he was killed by Aidan Flamberge; the fairies are apparently in S.D.'s possession). Oh, and Serenity's cousin Valerie, a former minion of Aidan Flamberge (except she hated it; she appears in the Sea Zone of Lunar Shadow even if its events aren't canon in the mod), the two Armweak siblings, Eris Calibur, Hiranya Mitsuru, Martel Aar (both of them appear in Selenic Shadow at least), and Valkyrie Horton (after the events of Lunar Shadow - in the best ending, which has not yet been made; she's the mother of Serenity, Shinica and Ilina)… oh, and that mermaid who appears in Lunar Shadow's Reservoir (with a star, sun and moon orbiting her). Wait what? :))

And some more blah-worthy text, because I felt silly!

Also, Alexis' outfit is based on this one, if I'm not mistaken. That's pretty cool, because I never knew Kim was that skilled at spriting such a difficult outfit! :o
Guess I need to Take a Level in Badass when it comes to spriting? :P

Sadness is ill-fitting for a wonderful world!

#BringBackEveryonesSmile
Bring it back! Bring it back!
#BringBackEveryonesSmile
Bring back everybody's smiles!

I got carried away~ :P

Here ends my jesting. PK and NLK sprites made either by the late Shane "Isliota" Neumann (25/02/1996 - 30/08/2016) or the late Eric "the Eternal Darkness" van der Skyff (?/?/? - ?/04/2014). Most other sprites either by myself (Valkyrie's new sprite; human Tia, human Mat, their human and dragon Fusions; the ring), Dianke Smith (that Sivleren Fairy? Maybe Shana too?) or Kim Tyranto (the rest).

Rest in peace, Shane. You will definitely be missed. I don't know about Eric, but Karina probably misses him despite his past deeds.

Serenth / Dyznoir (planet)
« on: 02 November 2016, 10:16:28 »
Dyznoir is a planet in the fictional Serenth galaxy.

NAME:
Pronunciation: dhisnwaar (?)
IPA: /ðɪsˈnwɑɹ/

DAY/NIGHT CYCLE:
The day/night cycle works differently on Dyznoir, as day is six hours while night is eighteen hours. This is consistent across the entire planet. Researchers are not sure yet, but it is theorized that something within Dyznoir's atmosphere is causing such a day/night cycle.

SEASONS:
Dyznoir's seasons are different in that they only occur on a specific section of the planet. Where the equator and meridian meet, all four seasons occur, practically resulting in chaos.

MOONS:
Dyznoir has four moons.
  • Dystopia
The largest moon, orbiting around Dyznoir.
  • Noir
The second-largest moon, orbiting around Dystopia.
  • Ravil
The second-smallest moon, orbiting around Utopia.
  • Utopia
The smallest moon, orbiting around Dystopia.

CONTINENTS:
Dyznoir has four continents, each continent having a specific season.
  • Fallunm
Found in the Western and Southern Hemispheres. It is in a permanent autumn.
  • Frozter
Found in the Eastern and Northern Hemispheres. It is in an infinite winter. And cold.
  • Kannikule
Found in the Western and Northern Hemisphere. It is in a never-ending summer.
  • Gurowth
Found in the Eastern and Southern Hemisphere. It is in an eternal spring.
More information may be added later on, so stay tuned!

A-TRANS TOWER:
A mysterious, ominous tower that rose from the ocean where the equator and meridian of Dyznoir meet. Those who go there never come back alive again, so what lies inside remains a mystery to this day. The people of Dyznoir call it "A-Trans", short for "Antagonistic Trans-Dimension". (For some reason.)

Serenth / Iquarox (planet)
« on: 02 November 2016, 10:00:54 »
Iquarox is a small planet in the fictional Serenth galaxy.

NAME:
Pronunciation: ikwu-róks
IPA: /ɪˈkwʊrɔːks/

SEASONS:
For some reason, Iquarox has five seasons. The seasons are global, and not confined to a specific hemisphere.
  • Spring: January, February, March
  • Summer: April, May
  • Autumn: June, July
  • Winter: August, September, October
  • Toximn: November, December
Toximn is a season that makes the air of the planet highly toxic to breathe in. However, the fauna and flora of the planet is immune to it. The toxicity in the air somehow makes the ground suitable for planting, which is perfect for the coming spring, allowing crops to flourish.

CONTINENTS:
Iquarox currently has five continents, with a sixth one being constructed.
  • Coatl (natural)
Named after the mythical quetzal of autumn.
  • Izanari (natural)
Named after the mythical eagle of toximn.
  • Marshussu (man-made)
Construction began on 21 October 2016. Named after Marshussu, a mythical phoenix and the father of the ghost dragon Tiamat.
  • Quinzal (natural)
Named after the mythical parrot of summer.
  • Ximenesia (natural)
Named after the mythical owl of winter.
  • Zsigmondy (natural)
Named after the mythical hawk of spring.
More information will probably be added later!

MYTHS:
According to Iquaroxan myth, there are six mythical birds that played a vital part in history. Marshussu, the most powerful of them, was a vile phoenix, one feared throughout the world. However, five birds became powerful enough to protect the innocent. Coatl, the cowardly, polite quetzal of the autumn. Izanari, the brave, stoic eagle of the toximn. Quinzal, the silly, quick parrot of the summer. Ximenesia, the rude, shy owl of the winter. Zsigmondy, the blind, deaf hawk of the spring.

At the time, there was only one continent, Coanzasidy. Together, the five birds fought against Marshussu, whose wife Martablilu gave birth to Tiamat. The five birds ended up winning, but at the cost of Coanzasidy splitting into the five natural continents known today.

Izanari was the son of Izanami, the eagle of the ocean, and Izanagi, the eagle of the thunder.

Newerth / Anegio
« on: 02 May 2016, 11:20:24 »
Anegio is a floating continent found on Newerth. It was first discovered on 7 February 2016; the discovery led to Zephyria also being classified as a floating continent, rather than a sky island.

NAME:
Pronunciation: únehxeeow
IPA: /ɑːnɛxɪoʊ/
Adjective form: Anegian

ALIGNMENTS:
Anegio has two Alignments - Genesis and Oblivion. Genesis represents Light, while Oblivion represents Darkness.

AREAS:
The following areas are known to exist within the Genesis alignment:
  • Arcadia (ruler unknown)
  • Castle Genesis (Purity)
  • Cloud Nine (ruler unknown)
  • Crystal Caves (ruler unknown)
  • Dancer Town (ruler unknown)
  • Edyn Village (ruler unknown)
One of the Eleven Hero Villages.
  • Gale Hills (ruler unknown)
  • Gear Metropolis (ruler unknown)
  • Geyser Lake (ruler unknown)
  • Kimloch Town (ruler unknown)
  • Lake of the Fates (ruler unknown)
  • Outer Wall (ruler unknown)
  • Subterrene Desert (ruler unknown)
  • Symphony Zone (ruler unknown)
  • The Lunar Realm (ruler unknown)
  • Tower of Ancestry (ruler unknown)
Those who enter will find their family trees in this tower, from the very bottom of the tower all the way to the top.
  • Winter Fortress (ruler unknown)
The following areas are known to exist within the Oblivion alignment:
  • Arcana (ruler unknown)
  • Area of Conflict (ruler unknown)
  • Blood-Tainted Volcano (ruler unknown)
  • Castle Oblivion (Malice Oblivié)
  • Confusion Zone (Confusia)
  • Dimensional Corridor (Nyx Tiamat Xyz)
  • Hare Forest (ruler unknown)
  • Myst Zone (Shiori Shauntal)
  • Nightmare (Nyx)
  • Osseous Spire (ruler unknown)
  • Ruined City (ruler unknown)
Used to be called Mauve City, but a mysterious incident ruined the city. One of the Eleven Cities of Neia.
  • The Forgotten Realm (ruler unknown)
  • The Shrine of the Hortons (ruler unknown)
It is said that this is where Lavitka Horton grew up in her youth.
  • The Veil (ruler unknown)
  • True Lunar Soul Castle (Lunar Soul)
A replica of the castle was constructed on Tirahnys in 1784, as Lunar preferred not being on Anegio.
  • Vampire's Tomb (ruler unknown)
  • Ysterson Town (ruler unknown)
This list is by no means complete.

Despite being on the same continent, however, each area works differently due to a mysterious yet ancient spell. So one area might have green skies, while another has purple sky.

CURRENCY:
Anegio uses two currencies, one for each Alignment. Genesis-alignment areas use centimes, dinar and rial - 100 centimes in a dinar, 100 dinars in a rial; while Oblivion-alignment areas use stotinki and leva - 100 stotinki in a lev. A stotinka or a centime is commonly found dropped by monsters, though how many vary by monsters.

RULERS:
Unlike the other continents, Anegio has no specific ruler; instead, each area has its own ruler (as listed above).

Anyway, post your speed run times here, if you feel like it. Like, the true final boss, Ballos.

Mine... got deleted and now I have to do everything from scratch. So, 0'00"00 at the moment since I haven't restarted yet.

Several of you know who I am, at this time. However, for those who don't know... well, I guess this thread has a reason :P

The name's Ariana, previously known as "Yui". I'm Bloom's sister, and Dianke's stepsis.
Call me Ariana or Yui, I don't mind. :)

My birthday is on 31 March.

My favorite Pokémon type is Dark, my favorite Dariian element is Darkness (Darii is a fictional galaxy in Shane's Dragon Riders of which the fate is unknown), my favorite chemical element is Au (gold)...
