What would the previous avatar's Pokémon type be?
(Two types, maximum, at least until three types are a thing in the canon Pokémon games without the use of moves like Forest's Curse or Trick-or-Treat or whatever.)
This post will use Shane's avatar as an example.
Normal/Fairy

Just let me ask if i got it right: We say that if our avatars (or previous avatars) were Pokemon we must say it's type, right?
-
(Yep. Mono-type or dual-type, at the moment.)
-
Well i guess mine will be Psychic-type.
-
Normal
-
Poison / Dark
-
Fire / Steel
-
Water / Dark
-
Fairy / Normal
The reason for that is because:
(1) the microphone. Sound-based moves are treated as Normal-type moves.
(2) the outfit. It's mostly white or pink, and most of the Fairy-type Pokémon I know of are pink in color - the Cleffa line, for instance. Sylveon is also an example, with white and pink in its color scheme.
