I've had a rough couple of weeks. University is crazy at the moment -- I've finished all 6 papers for my thesis, but I need to get at least one of them published before I can finish the course, and I have no idea when that's going to happen, so I'm just frantically revising and re-submitting papers all over the place. Deadline is 12th of February, which is not going to happen, but that only means my scholarship ends then, they're not going to kick me out or anything and I'll be able to finish anyway. I'm going to try my hardest to finish all of that this year, but if, at the end of the year, I'm still sitting here doing the same thing, I think I will get myself the hell out, even if it's suboptimal. I'll be down to AUD$160 a week for food, medication, phone bills, petrol and miscellaneous expenses for myself and Sypher, which should be okay, but only if Sypher stops being so demanding hahah >_<
He has mostly been good to me lately, a lot more so than he was a month ago. However, he had a falling-out with Shaikur and Nirusu as well, which I think sent that situation several steps closer to blowing up catastrophically. People are going to get hurt by that when it happens, I've been trying to kick that can down the road but it's worrying me.
Also not helping is that I broke my favourite keyboard last week by being a dumbass and I've had to order a new one -- at the moment I'm borrowing one of several crappy keyboards which Sypher was hoarding for whatever reason. I also discovered last week that I've somehow gained a heap of weight, so I've already begun to work on fixing that as well.
Overall I've been tired and weak and been dealing with a heap of troubles lately. However, when I get through all of it I'll be in a really good position I think.

Right. Heads up but if I don't show up any reason, take it as a sign that my laptop has given up the ghost. Today, I accidently forgot to plug in my charger, the laptop ended up shutting down (due to the internal battery being rather low) and when I tried to turn it on, it entered a state of activating then turning off. I took it upon myself to unscrew the 3 mini screws holding both sides of the computer together and took a look at the internal battery.* hugs *
After doing that and putting the screws back in and re-screwing them, I turned the laptop back on and it was working normally. I'm not going to take my chances though, so I'll need to start putting programs and files away into memory sticks and SD cards so that I don't lose them if I can no longer access them on my laptop.
* hugs *I've decided that backing up the useful files needs to be done first otherwise I will have to devote hours to redownloading things (assuming I can easily find them of course). Also my second college harddrive (for my last two years there) was finally able to connect with my computer only to it be revealed that it's storage capacity is mostly MB, which is mostly worthless but I'll find a use for it eventually.
Hope you can get all that sorted!
And yeah, backing stuff up and putting 'em on memory sticks and such is important.
