Title: Anegio
Post by: Yui on 02 May 2016, 11:20:24
Anegio is a floating continent found on Newerth. It was first discovered on 7 February 2016; the discovery led to Zephyria also being classified as a floating continent, rather than a sky island.

NAME:
Pronunciation: únehxeeow
IPA: /ɑːnɛxɪoʊ/
Adjective form: Anegian

ALIGNMENTS:
Anegio has two Alignments - Genesis and Oblivion. Genesis represents Light, while Oblivion represents Darkness.

AREAS:
The following areas are known to exist within the Genesis alignment:
The following areas are known to exist within the Oblivion alignment:
This list is by no means complete.

Despite being on the same continent, however, each area works differently due to a mysterious yet ancient spell. So one area might have green skies, while another has purple sky.

CURRENCY:
Anegio uses two currencies, one for each Alignment. Genesis-alignment areas use centimes, dinar and rial - 100 centimes in a dinar, 100 dinars in a rial; while Oblivion-alignment areas use stotinki and leva - 100 stotinki in a lev. A stotinka or a centime is commonly found dropped by monsters, though how many vary by monsters.

RULERS:
Unlike the other continents, Anegio has no specific ruler; instead, each area has its own ruler (as listed above).

RUINED CITY:
The Ruined City is one of the Cities of Neia, having been previously known as Mauve City prior to its destruction. It is an Oblivion-aligned area.

As the Ruined City, the sky is reddish-orange. There are open squares in a frozen (absolutely still) city of tall, windowless buildings. There are no trees or grass, and the cement is damaged*. Chunks of masonry lie on the street, and there is both a physical and spiritual cold. What few inhabitants exist here are either armed people wearing gas masks, or mutants; both can be considered as hostile.

As Mauve City, the sky was blue. Trees and grass grew freely, while the buildings were undamaged. It was warm, and gas masks were never worn. No mutants existed.

THE LUNAR REALM:
The Lunar Realm is a Genesis-aligned area on Anegio.

It is a land of snow and ice, yet there is no cold. The sky is violet with a sickle moon, and a smaller, higher, nearly-full moon as well as a third moon. There is a soft, healing breeze, and mountains as well as moonstones. The icicles in the area can heal when eaten (like a lollipop), but they have a stinging taste.

Monsters:
Monsters that are known to be found here include: Lunar Rhapsody; Moonlit Elegy; Snowy Requiem; Icy Opera; Glacial Nocturne; Moonlight Shadow.

CASTLE OBLIVION:
Castle Oblivion is an Oblivion-aligned area on Anegio. Not to be confused with this Castle Oblivion (http://www.khwiki.com/Castle_Oblivion).

The castle, on the outside, is pitch black, while the inside is stark white. The basement has an exit, but leaving through there means a potentially-fatal free-fall to Newerth.

The doors are all locked, and only special cards can open them. The layouts are generally the same - white rooms, one of which have a staircase to the top - but the ruler of the world, Malice Oblivié, is capable of changing it at will, or having it change based on the memories of a person within the castle.

Each illusory area appears as it would in the real world, split into rooms. However, on entering the area, they will emerge into one of about four rooms (it varies from area to area; the Lunar Soul Castle would have only one entry point, while Gomu Forest would have three).

Heartful under Malice's command guard the castle against intruders, ever since Anubis was vanquished around 20 January 2015.

Battles in this Castle Oblivion do not require cards. They are as normal as outside of the castle.

The skies are blue (RGB: 0/0/255), and there is a star-shaped moon. The area is magically advanced with technology; the buildings float through levitation, yet every building has electricity.

Enemies include sorcerer mechanics and sorceress ninjas.
