I guess that everyone would talk about this game. This is the spiritual successor of the 2D Castlevania games. It's developed by Inti Creates (The one working behind the portable version of Mighty No. 9) and by Koji "IGA" Igarashi.
The game is still on Kickstarter and have pledged over 4 times the 500k goal. All the info is in the Kickstarter page
