YE GODS--
Remasters of the first Etrian Odyssey games for Switch and PC confirmed.
Each with two extra DLC portraits.
No clue if this Origins Collection will be remastering the 3DS versions of I and II though.
There's also all
this IGN news about the recent Nintendo Direct. Stuff included:
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom gets a collector's edition that's obviously more expensive.
Metroid Prime Remastered is released, with physical releases coming later this month. No news on remasters of the second or third games, though, nor news on a fourth one.
Pikmin 4.
Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games will be coming to Switch by the Nintendo Switch Online thing. All NSO subscribers have access to the GB games, but those with the Expansion Pack will get access to the GBA games, apparently.
Advance Wars 1+2: Boot Camp will be released in April this year.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will have its Booster Course Pass released later this year ("Spring 2023", so I imagine it's Autumn for us Southern Hemisphere folks). Future waves will apparently have returning characters from older games, too.
Splatoon 3 will have an expansion pass bringing Inklings to
Splatoon 1's Inkopolis, and there's another DLC, "Side Order", but it's a mystery at this point.
Kirby's Return to Dreamland Deluxe will get a new epilogue in this remaster, and up to
four players can play together. On the same Switch.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3's third volume of the expansion pass will add a new hero and a fourth volume will arrive later this year.
Fire Emblem Engage DLC featuring new Emblems, including Robin, Chrom, Soren, Camilla, and Veronica. Oh, and a new story called "Fell Xenologue" in wave 4. Uh?
Disney Illusion Island, releasing July this year.
Sea of Stars, releasing later in August. (On the Switch, at least. Dunno when the PC version releases, but I'm following the Twitter account so.)
Octopath Traverler 2 releases later this month.
Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon spin-off.
In March,
Dead Cells DLC brings a
Return to Castlevania!
Wow.
Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster confirmed!
TRON: Identity too.
Professor Layton and the New World of Steam will be the newest entry in the series.
Samba de Amigo: Party Central. A rhythm game. Boring.
Harmony: The Fall of Reverie, from the developer of
Life Is Strange.
Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is a life sim letting you build up an island, craft,
engage in combat (I'm interested), complete quests, and travel through time. Wait, how do you steal time--?!
Remaster of
We Love Katamari.
Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective will also be getting an HD upgrade--?!
Omega Strikers. Not interested, but it's free-to-play and a soccer/air-hockey mix.
Fashion Dreamer. I'd prefer
Style Savvy honestly.
DECAPOLICE, from the devs of
Professor Layton.
Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE.
Of course. Nothing
Pokιmon-related, so that's probably gonna be. Like. On Pokιmon Day or something.
